We are attempting to source as many of our products as possible through companies endorsed by the Fair Trade Federation.
We aim to learn from and support indigenous handmade crafts from around the World. Products crafted in other, often developing, countries draw a lot in common with Ocracoke. Many artisans are living in rural environments, relatively unspoiled by industry, attempting to preserve local handicrafts, culture, and talent.
We currently sell Fair Trade products from among the following countries:
Bangladesh, Chile, Colombia, India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Peru, the Philippines, Vietnam, Brazil, Bulgaria.... our list is continually growing.
